| The AP1086 power amplifier module is designed for dual/tri/quad-band (GSM850/900, DCS1800, PCS1900) cellular applications. This module meets class-12 General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) requirement. The advanced integration technology allows the elimination of directional coupler, power control IC and other peripheral components necessary for a closed-loop power control. The proprietary power sensing technique allows up to 40 dB of output power range with higher accuracy comparing to voltage or current sensing methods at higher overall power efficiency. In addition, this power sensing technique is inherently insensitive to temperature, power supply and process variation.
